​Melaka

​​Melaka ( Malacca ) has a long, turbulent history.  Once the most significant trading port in all of Asia, it has been controlled at various stages by Malay Sultanates, the Portuguese, the Dutch & the British.  It is now a UNESCO World Heritage town and a wonderful place to explore.
